Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary
to Attend MUN Discovery Day
Terry French, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister
of Health and Community Services, will join Dr. Jim Rourke, Dean of the
Faculty of Medicine, to give opening remarks at Discovery Days in Health
Sciences tomorrow (Friday, May 15) at 9:00 a.m. in the main auditorium
of the medical school at Memorial University.
The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame/Pfizer Discovery
Days enables secondary school students to explore health-related career
opportunities. The event is held at 10 universities across Canada.
