Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Meetings of
Canadian and Atlantic Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers

The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will participate in meetings of the Canadian Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers (CCFAM) and Atlantic Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers (ACFAM) at Rodd Mill River, O�Leary, Prince Edward Island.

The meetings of the CCFAM will take place today (Thursday, October 15). Topics to be discussed include maximizing the value of aquatic resources, eco-certification and aquaculture.

The meetings of the ACFAM will take place tomorrow (Friday, October 16). Topics to be discussed include the lobster fishery, the seal fishery and sustainability trends in the fishing industry.
