Media Advisory: Minister to Hold News Conference with FFAW and ASP
The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of
Fisheries and Aquaculture, will hold a joint news conference with
representatives of the Fish, Food and Allied Workers (FFAW) and
Association of Seafood Producers (ASP) at 3:00 p.m. today (Tuesday, July
14) at the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation
Building.
The FFAW will be represented by President Earl McCurdy and ASP will be
represented by Executive Director Derek Butler. The minister and
industry representatives will be announcing a new agreement to address
long-term structural issues in the province�s fishing industry.
