Budget Day Announced

 

The Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, today announced that the Provincial Government will deliver Budget 2009 on March 26.

 

�As we lead into budget day, I would like to thank individuals and groups who participated in pre-budget consultations held throughout the province,� said Minister Kennedy. �This was my first opportunity to participate in pre-budget consultations and it was a valuable experience which allowed me to hear suggestions from people about what is important to them and their regions. Feedback from the consultations is being considered as part of the budgetary review process.�

 

Further details on the media lock-in for budget day will be announced prior to budget day.
