Media Advisory: Minister to
Speak at Raise-a-Reader Event
The Honourable Dave Denine,
Minister Responsible for the Volunteer and Non-Profit
Sector, will speak at The Telegram Canwest
Raise-a-Reader event. The event will take place tomorrow
(Wednesday, September 23), at approximately 9:30 a.m. in
the library at Macpherson Elementary, 40 Newtown Road,
St. John�s.
The Telegram Canwest
Raise-a-Reader Campaign volunteers will take to the
streets across the cities of St. John�s and Mount Pearl
between 7:00 a.m. � 9:00 a.m. to canvass for donations
and hand out a special Raise-a-Reader edition of The
Telegram.
