Media Advisory: Auditorium to be Named in Honour of Lawrence O�Brien

The Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be in Happy Valley-Goose Bay tomorrow (Tuesday, June 2) to officially name Labrador�s newest performance space in honour of the late Lawrence O�Brien, the former Labrador Member of Parliament who passed away in 2004.

The Premier will be joined by the Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, the Honourable John Hickey, Minister of Labrador Affairs and MHA for the District of Lake Melville, the Honourable Patty Pottle, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and MHA for the District of Torngat Mountains, and Happy Valley-Goose Bay Mayor Leo Abbass.

The event will take place at 2:30 p.m. at the auditorium, located adjacent to Mealy Mountain Collegiate in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
