Public Advisory: Disruption of Provincial Government IT Services

Due to an electrical problem, all power to the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) building at 40 Higgins Line is currently unavailable, resulting in a disruption of all Provincial Government information technology (IT) services. This includes all government systems, websites and online services.

At this time, the OCIO is working to solve the problem, and is unable to identify how long it will take for both power and services to be restored. The OCIO is anticipating that once the problem is fixed all technical services will be restored within six to eight hours.

Once power is restored, applications and systems will be restored in an orderly manner in accordance with the OCIO�s Business Continuity Plan.
