Executive Council March 25, 2009 Media Advisory: Throne Speech Lock-in for Members of the Media The Speech from the Throne will be delivered by His Honour, the Honourable John Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, at 2:00 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 25) in the House of Assembly. A lock-in will be held for media representatives at 1:30 p.m. in the Media Centre, Ground Floor, Confederation Building. During the lock-in, media representatives will be provided with an advance copy of the Speech from the Throne. Media representatives may enter the lock-in at any time after 1:30 p.m. Upon entering, however, a person must remain in the lock-in until 2:00 p.m. Media representatives are reminded that wireless communication devices, such as cellular phones, BlackBerrys and portable computers are not allowed in the lock-in area. - 30 - Media contact: Doris Walsh 2009 03 25 11:10 a.m. |
