Advisory: Minister and Parliamentary Secretary to Attend
Opening of Housing Resource Centre
The Honourable Charlene
Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, along
with Keith Hutchings, Parliamentary Secretary to the
Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, will
address attendees at the official opening of Stella
Burry Community Services� new Housing Resource Centre
tomorrow (Tuesday, November 24) at 3:00 p.m. The centre
is located at 84 Prescott Street (at Rawlin�s Cross) in
St. John�s.
Stella Burry Community
Services is a community-based organization that provides
access to safe affordable housing, counselling and
treatment programs, and skill development opportunities
and employment programs to individuals with complex
needs. The new facility will provide a range of housing
support services to individuals that may include
eviction prevention, tenant relations and outreach
housing support.
