Media Advisory: Ministers of the Environment Meet in Kingston

The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will join her counterparts in Kingston, Ontario, for a meeting of the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME), tomorrow (Thursday, October 29) at Kingston City Hall.

The council will discuss a range of issues including strategic directions for water in the country, air quality, environmental assessments, and strategies to reduce packaging and encourage producers to take greater responsibility for the products they manufacture.
