The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

Salmonier Pond Access Road
Proponent: Gray Aqua Group Ltd. (Reg. 1436)

The proposal is to construct a 2.8 kilometre access road from Route 362, near Belleoram to Salmonier Pond. The road will be approximately five metres wide and allow access to a salmon nursery in Salmonier Pond. The proposal includes the development of a truck turning and equipment storage area near the pond. The project is scheduled to commence in August 2009 if approved.

The undertaking was registered on June 24, 2009; public comments are due by July 31, 2009; and the minister's decision is due by August 7, 2009.
