The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of
Environment and Conservation, will attend the Nature Conservancy of
Canada�s eighth annual Gifts to Canadians event tomorrow (Friday, June
26) at 9:00 a.m. at MUN Botanical Gardens, St. John�s.
The NCC works in partnership with federal, provincial
and municipal governments, as well as corporations and individuals, to
secure ecologically significant natural areas. In the lead up to Canada
Day, NCC presents 10 gifts across the country, one to each province.
