Public Advisory: Phone Disruption at Cape St. Marys Ecological Reserve

The public is advised that, due to the discontinuation of analog cellular phone services in the province, there is currently no phone service available at the Cape St. Marys Ecological Reserve Interpretation Centre.

The public is also advised that cell phones will not work anywhere within the reserve boundary. The department is currently testing alternate communications systems to restore phone services to the interpretation centre. The centre does have a VHF radio communications system in place for emergency use.

The interpretation centre is now open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. For general inquiries regarding Cape St. Marys Ecological Reserve, please call 709-635-4520.
