The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of
Environment and Conservation, will bring greetings and present the
Operator of the Year Awards at the 8th Annual Clean and Safe
Drinking Water Workshop tomorrow (Wednesday, March 25) at the Hotel
Gander at 9:00 a.m.
The annual Clean and Safe Drinking Water Workshop is
sponsored by the Department of Environment and Conservation. The
workshops are intended to provide water system operators and owners in
the province with technical information on drinking water systems by
water industry experts from across Canada and the US. The theme of this
year�s conference is Rural Reactions and Remedies. The conference
runs from March 24-26.
