Media Advisory: Ministers of the Environment Meet in Whitehorse

The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will join her counterparts in Whitehorse, Yukon for a meeting of the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME), tomorrow (Tuesday, February 17) at Yukon College.

The council will discuss a range of issues including municipal wastewater effluent, climate change, and strategies to reduce packaging and encourage producers to take greater responsibility for the products they manufacture.
