Media Advisory: Education Minister to Announce Arts Council Funding

The Honourable Darin King, Minister of Education, will be at Larkhall Academy tomorrow (Wednesday, November 18) to announce additional funding to the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council (NLAC) as part of the Provincial Government�s Cultural Connections strategy. He will be joined by Reg Winsor, executive director of the NLAC. After the announcement, they will visit a Grade 2 hip hop class that is engaged in an ArtsSmarts project called Motif-vation II - Patterns in the Manmade World.

Larkhall Academy is located at 16 Larkhall Street, St. John�s. The event begins at 9:00 a.m.
