Auditor General Releases Report to the House of Assembly on
Updates on Prior Years� Report Items

John L. Noseworthy, CA, Auditor General, today presented the report Updates on Prior Years� Report Items to the Speaker of the House of Assembly.

The Report contains conclusions and commentary on the status of the implementation of recommendations made to Government departments and agencies in Reports to the House of Assembly on Reviews of Departments and Crown Agencies (Annual Reports) from 2004 to 2007. The conclusions are based on the written responses provided by the entities, additional documentation sent to our Office, and information resulting from meetings held with each entity.

Mr. Noseworthy�s Report is available on the Office of the Auditor General Web site at //www.gov.nl.ca/ag/reports.htm. 

As with prior reports to the House of Assembly on Reviews of Departments and Crown Agencies, the Auditor General will be available to the media on an appointment basis.
