Public Advisory: Bell Island Ferry Involved in RCMP Training Exercise

The general public is advised that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will conduct a training exercise tomorrow (Thursday, September 25) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the Beaumont Hamel ferry, which services Portugal Cove-Bell Island.

The exercise, which will include the RCMP Emergency Response Team boarding the ship while it is moving, will not disrupt the normal operations of the Beaumont Hamel.
