Public Advisory: Trans Canada Highway Closed

The Department of Transportation and Works and Fire and Emergency Services - Newfoundland and Labrador advise the traveling public that the Trans Canada Highway has been closed between Gander and Gambo until further notice. The closure will enable crews from Transportation and Works to continue to drain water from near the highway.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area by taking the Bonavista loop.

An update will be provided should the situation change.
