Transportation and Works April 17, 2008 Public Advisory: Update on Apollo Ferry Service The Apollo ferry, which operates in the Strait of Belle Isle, made its first run of the season at 11:00 a.m. today (Thursday, April 17) with the assistance of an icebreaker. However, travellers and shippers are advised that due to adverse ice conditions in the area, the vessel is operating on a day-to-day basis until conditions improve.
