Tourism, Culture and Recreation September 19, 2008 The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador: Ladies Canada Games Basketball Tryouts The 2009 Ladies Canada Games Basketball Program will hold open tryouts for athletes born in 1992-1993 residing in the St. John�s Metro region. The camps will be held at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre on Thursday, September 25, from 7:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 28, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Athletes selected will compete in the St. John�s Ladies League during the fall and winter. Athletes outside the region should note this is not the final tryout for the program. The total cost for both sessions is $25.00 per athlete and must be paid on site during the first session.
