Media Advisory: Provincial Government Releases Hebron Documents

As committed in the signing ceremony last week, the Provincial Government today officially released documents pertaining to the final agreement to develop the Hebron offshore oil project. The final agreement was announced by the Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the project co-venturers on August 20, in St. John�s.

The documents can now be found on the government website at www.nr.gov.nl.ca/hebron/. The documents are the Hebron Fiscal Agreement, Hebron Benefits Agreement and the Hebron Closing Acknowledgement Agreement.

The co-venturers in the Hebron project are the province�s energy corporation, Chevron Canada Limited, ExxonMobil Canada, Petro-Canada and StatoilHydro Canada.
