Media Advisory: Venue Change for Ministers to Announce Enhancements to
Northern Strategic Plan for Labrador

Due to weather conditions in Nain, the Honourable John Hickey, Minister of Labrador Affairs, and the Honourable Patty Pottle, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, will announce enhancements to the Northern Strategic Plan for Labrador in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. The announcement will include details of changes to the Air Foodlift Subsidy Program.

The news conference will take place in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, at the boardroom of the Department of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs beginning at 2:00 p.m.

The Air Foodlift Subsidy Program is a Provincial Government initiative that ensures residents of Labrador who live on the north and south coasts and the straits have access to wholesome, nutritious foods at a reasonable cost.
