Media Advisory: Province to Announce Funding
for a New Career and Employment Program

The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, will officially announce funding for a new career and employment program operated by the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB). The announcement will take place today (Monday, September 15) at 1:30 p.m. at the CNIB Centre, 70 The Boulevard, St. Johnís.

The CNIB is the primary source of support, information and most importantly, hope, for all Canadians affected by vision loss. The CNIBís new employment counseling services are designed to significantly enhance the career prospects of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians with vision loss.
