House of Assembly Posts First Member Accountability and Disclosure Reports Speaker Roger Fitzgerald announced today that the House of Assembly has posted the first Member Accountability and Disclosure Reports on the House of Assembly website as required by the Members� Resources and Allowances Rules under the House of Assembly Accountability, Integrity and Administration Act. The reports can be found at //www.assembly.nl.ca/pubinfo/expense_reports/default.htm. For each member, there is a summary report and detailed reports which provide information in each of the following four categories: Office Allowances, Operational Resources, Travel and Living Allowances and Constituency Allowances. The Introduction will provide readers with an overview of the reports and an explanation of the report formats and various categories of expenditures. A report of each member�s expenditures will be posted twice per year. The reports posted today are for the period October 9, 2007 to March 31, 2008. - 30 - Media contact: 2008 06 19 3:45 p.m.
