Media Advisory: Minister to Join Waypoints for Site Visit
of New Equine Therapy Program for Youth

The Honourable Ross Wiseman, Minister of Health and Community Services, will visit the site of a new Equine Assisted Learning Program to be offered by Waypoints, an organization that helps at-risk youth and families. The program will provide the opportunity for young people to care for and interact with horses as part of Waypoints� youth therapy programming. A stable which can house up to three horses will be constructed on the site.

The visit will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8, at 77 Petty Harbour Road in the Goulds.
