Minister to Participate in Events During Motor The Honourable Kevin O�Brien, Minister of Government Services, is participating in two events related to the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators annual meeting in St. John�s this week. Today (Monday, May 12) Minister O�Brien will join the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, and members of the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators to launch Canada Road Safety Week. The launch will take place outside the Fairmont Newfoundland, St. John�s, weather permitting, at 11:45 a.m. In the event of inclement weather, the launch will be held inside the Fairmont Newfoundland. In addition, the minister will be the keynote speaker at the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators banquet on Tuesday, May 13, at 7:00 p.m. at the Fairmont Newfoundland. - 30 - Media contact: 2008 05 12 9:35 a.m.
