Media Advisory: Minister to Attend
Federal-Provincial-Territorial Finance Ministers Meetings
The Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance and
President of Treasury Board, will attend a meeting of Federal,
Provincial and Territorial Finance Ministers in Montreal, Quebec, May
29-30.
The agenda includes discussions on economic and fiscal
challenges, priorities and opportunities. The new Governor of the Bank
of Canada, Mark Carney, will also give a presentation on global and
Canadian financial markets.
