Public Advisory: Section of Former CN Railbed Closed at Petries Brook Crossing Until Further Notice

The public is advised that a section of the former CN railbed at the Petries Brook Crossing in Curling has been closed until further notice due to a washout that has occurred as a result of heavy rains in the area. The brook crossing is located near the corner of Petries Street and Hilliards Road.

Effective immediately, pedestrian traffic is not permitted on this section of the railbed. Barricades have been erected and repair work has begun.

The situation will be closely monitored and an update will be provided when the necessary repairs are completed.
