Environment and Conservation March 11, 2008 Media Advisory: Minister to Provide Opening Address at Drinking Water Workshop The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will deliver the opening address at the 7th Annual Clean and Safe Drinking Water Workshop tomorrow (Wednesday, March 12) at the Hotel Gander. The conference will begin at 9:00 a.m. and Minister Johnson will begin speaking at approximately 9:10 a.m. The annual Clean and Safe Drinking Water Workshops are intended to provide water system operators and owners in the province with technical information on drinking water systems by water industry experts from across Canada and the US. The theme of this year�s conference is Small Town Solutions.
