Education September 4, 2008 Media Advisory: Education Minister Kicks off New School Year The Honourable Joan Burke, Minister of Education, will begin the new school year by visiting two schools in Corner Brook today (Thursday, September 4). The minister will be at C.C Loughlin Elementary at 10:00 a.m., and at the site of the new high school currently under construction at 11:00 a.m.
