Public Advisory: New Location for Government�s Gander Offices

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that various Provincial Government offices will move from two locations in Gander to the Fraser Mall in Gander, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 12.

The following departments� offices will move from the McCurdy Building: Transportation and Works, Justice, Municipal Affairs, Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, Government Services, and Environment and Conservation. The office of Human Resources, Labour and Employment will move from its previous location at the Gander Airport.

The Department of Government Services advises that the public can contact its Grand Falls-Windsor offices on Friday, September 14 and Monday, September 17, while its Gander office is closed during the move. For the Government Service Centre, call 709-292-4206, for Motor Registration Division call 709-292-4211.

The Department of Environment and Conservation office will be closed from Friday, September 14 to Tuesday, September 18. For general inquiries or information during the period of closure, the public may contact the Howley Building in St. John's at 709-729- 3085.

Service in other Provincial Government departments will not be impacted while locations are transferred.

It is anticipated that the move will be completed by Tuesday, September 18.
