Public Advisory: Delay in Availability of Williams Harbour-Norman Bay Ferry Service

The Honourable John Hickey, Minister of Transportation and Works, would like to inform the public of a delay in the Williams Harbour-Norman Bay ferry service. The ferry vessel, M.V. Challenge One, which was anticipated to be available tomorrow (Saturday, June 9), continues to undergo refits and is now expected to be ready in the middle of next week.

In the interim, the Department of Transportation and Works will provide a helicopter service until the ferry vessel arrives. The longliner freight service will continue on an as-needed basis.
