The following is being distributed at the request of
Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:
Canada Games, Marksmanship Training
Group: Recruitment Call
The Newfoundland and Labrador Shooting Association is
currently recruiting air rifle and air pistol athletes to form a
training group for the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax Nova Scotia.
Both male and female athletes may apply provided their birth date lies
between January 1, 1991 and December 31, 1998 and they meet any other
provincial eligibility conditions. Previous experience is not necessary.
However, prior experience in marksmanship and/or gymnastics would be an
asset.
Interested athletes should contact Dave Woolridge by
e-mail (dave.woolridge@mi.mun.ca) or drop by our training facility in
room PE-1002 in the School of Human Kinetics and Recreation on Friday
evenings between 7:00 and 9:00.
