National Basketball Scores

The Newfoundland basketball U15 and U17 girls� teams lost their games on Tuesday and Wednesday at the national championships in Vancouver, British Columbia. The U15 team lost to Saskatchewan 88-48 on Tuesday and, on Wednesday, they lost to Alberta 74-62 in their first game and then lost to Nova Scotia in their second game of the day 81-43. The U17 girls� team was defeated 101-32 on Tuesday by British Columbia and lost to Nova Scotia 76-48 on Wednesday. The U15 team is now 0-3 while the U17 team is 0-2.

The U15 team is slated to play against Quebec today (August 16) while the U17 team faces the Territories in the morning and New Brunswick this evening.
