Minister Announces $20,000 in Funding to Beyond the Overpass Theatre Company

The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

2007 National Basketball Championships

The Newfoundland and Labrador basketball Association will be sending two male teams to Sherbrooke, Quebec to compete in the 2007 National Championships on Wednesday, August 8.

Competition for both teams will begin on Thursday, August 9 and will continue through the week, concluding on Tuesday, August 14 with the championship games.

Head coaches are for the programs include: Dave Constantine- Juvenile Boys and Leo Buckle - Midget Boys. For additional information, please contact the provincial office at (709) 576-0247 or visit the Web site at www.nlba.nf.ca.
