Tourism, Culture and Recreation May 23, 2007 The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador: Long Course Provincial Swimming Championships Set for this Weekend Swimmers representing 11 swim clubs from all around the island and Labrador will compete this weekend at the Aquarena in St. John�s, during the 2007 Long Course Provincial Championships. There will be over 230 individual races plus relays. Competition gets underway at 8:15 a.m. on Friday (May 25), with morning heats and evening finals. Morning heats and evening finals continue on Saturday (May 26) and conclude on Sunday (May 27). Individual age group and team awards will be presented at the wrap up of Sunday�s finals session.
