Media Advisory: Minister Hedderson to Address International Events

Tourism, Culture and Recreation Minister, the Honourable Tom Hedderson, will address delegates attending the Canadian Archaeological Association (CAA) annual conference at The Rooms, St. John�s, today (Friday, May 18) at 7:00 p.m.

The conference will feature international delegates from Spain, USA, United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Greenland, Iceland and the Netherlands. This is the first CAA annual conference to be held in the province since 1991.

On Saturday, May 19, Minister Hedderson will address delegates at the Lions Club International Banquet, at the Delta Hotel, St. John�s, at 7:00 p.m.

Approximately 300 Lions and their spouses from Multiple District 41, which includes Atlantic Canada and Maine, USA, will be attending.
