Tourism, Culture and Recreation May 4, 2007 Media Advisory: News Conference Re-Scheduled A news conference scheduled for May 4, 12:00 noon at the Corner Brook Museum, to announce details of increased support in Budget 2007 to provincial arts programs, heritage organizations and cultural attractions has been re-scheduled for Saturday, May 5 at 12:00 noon Tourism, Culture and Recreation Minister the Honourable Tom Hedderson and representatives from the province�s arts and heritage communities will reveal a number of initiatives contained in year two of the province�s cultural plan Creative Newfoundland and Labrador: The Blueprint for Developing and Investing in Culture, a $17.6 million three-year plan to promote and preserve the province�s culture and heritage. -30- Media contact: 2007 05 04 9:30 a.m. |
