Diving NL Provincial Results

Newfoundland and Labrador Provincials were held at the Aquarena this past weekend with divers from the Edge Diving Club and Cygnus - NS participating.

13 year-old Aaron Thorne of Torbay, won three gold medals and qualified for the nationals on all three boards. Kate McCarthy of Holyrood, winner of five gold medals made the qualifying score for senior nationals and age group nationals on the one metre and platform. Liam Maher of St. John's won a gold and silver medal and qualified on one metre, while Quinn Crane, also of St. John's won three silver medals and qualified on three metre. Liam Lewis won two gold medals in the E events, while Riley Crane won gold, silver and bronze in his three events. Also winning gold medals in the Tier 1 events were Matthew Thomas, Meryn Avery, Michael Brophy and Tea Stewart of Halifax, Kaitlin Thomas, and Molly Wilson of Edge. Tier 2, winners were Aimee Snelgrove, Claire Wallace, Craig Marshall, Thomas Fitzpatrick and Jessica Losinski.
