Office of the Citizens� Representative

Ombudsman Intake Sessions

The Citizens� Representative is an Officer of the House of Assembly and is independent of political parties and government administration. The office receives complaints about administrative acts, errors, omissions and decisions of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador when all other avenues of appeal are exhausted. This service is free and confidential.

Officials with the Office of the Citizens� Representative will be conducting intake sessions on November 5, 6, and 7

Port aux Basques: Hotel Port aux Basques 9:00 a.m. � 5:00 p.m.

Stephenville: Holiday Inn Stephenville 9:00 a.m. � 5:00 p.m.

Deer Lake: Deer Lake Motel 9:00 a.m. � 5:00 p.m.

Members of the public who wish to learn more about the office, or discuss their concerns are asked to set up an appointment by calling 1-800-559-0079.
