Public Advisory: Department Conducts a Prescribed Burn
in Little Crabbes River Area

The Department of Natural Resources advises that it will conduct a prescribed burn in the Little Crabbes River area on Monday, September 10, weather permitting. The burn will take place in Forest Ecosystem Management District 14 on the west coast, as part of silviculture efforts over the next few days. The burn is being done to prepare the site for planting. The burn will take three to five days to complete, subject to weather conditions, about two kilometres off the Trans-Canada Highway.
