Advisory: Department Conducts a Prescribed Burn The Department of Natural Resources advises that it will conduct a prescribed burn in the Little Crabbes River area, in Forest Ecosystem Management District 14 on the west coast, as part of silviculture efforts over the next few days. The burn is being done to prepare the site for planting. The burn will take place over a period of days, when weather conditions permit, about two kilometers off the Trans-Canada Highway. -30- Media contact: 2007 08 30 12:05 p.m. |
