The Honourable Dave Denine, Minister of Municipal
Affairs, will participate in a number of events during the
Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador Convention and Trade Show. The
convention is being held at the Delta St. John�s and the St. John�s
Convention Centre Wednesday, November 14 to Saturday, November 17.
Minister Denine will participate in the following
events during the convention:
Thursday, November 15
Minister Denine will bring greetings during the
official opening at the St. John�s Convention Centre at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, November 16
Minister
Denine will bring greetings and present Tidy Towns Awards at a luncheon
at the St. John�s Convention Centre at 12:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 17
Minister Denine will bring greetings during the Annual General Meeting
in Salon A, Delta St. John�s at 8:00 a.m.
Minister Denine will speak and present municipal
long-service awards during the appreciation banquet at the St. John�s
Convention Centre at 7:30 p.m.
The 57th Municipalities Newfoundland and
Labrador Convention and Trade Show will bring together more than 1,200
municipal leaders and guests. The theme for the convention is
Municipal Governments: Partnering for Prosperity.
