Media Advisory: Minister to Address Agricultural Conference

The Honourable John Hickey, Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs, will speak on behalf of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador at the opening ceremonies of the 6th Circumpolar Agricultural Conference on Sunday, September 30.

The event starts 7:00 pm. at the Hamilton Hotel in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

The theme of the international conference is Northern Agriculture � Evolving with a Changing World and will address agricultural issues throughout the international circumpolar north. Previous conferences were held in Sweden, Iceland, Norway, United States (Alaska) and Whitehorse, Yukon. This year�s conference will run from September 30 to October 3.
