Media Advisory: Newfoundland Labrador Housing to Announce
Four Initiatives to Help Beautify its Neighbourhoods

Three joint employer-union beautification programs and a province-wide partnership apprenticeship program to revitalize public Housing neighbourhoods across the province will be announced on Friday, June 29.

The announcement will be made by the Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment and Minister Responsible for Housing; Len Simms, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Newfoundland Labrador Housing; along with Wayne Lucas, President, Canadian Union of Public Employees, Newfoundland and Labrador; and Bob Clarke, Business Manager, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1615.

The announcement will take place at 2:00 p.m. at MacMorran Community Centre, 39 � Bells Turn (Brother McSheffrey Lane).
