Media Advisory: Government Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Crab Fishery

The Provincial Government will be hosting a gala to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the crab fishery in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The gala will take place on Wednesday, November 28, 7:30 p.m., at The Fairmont Newfoundland. This will follow a reception at 6:30 p.m.

The Honourable Tom Rideout, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will be the hosting the event and speaking on behalf of the Provincial Government.

Richard Cashin, former president of the Fish, Food and Allied Workers, will be the keynote speaker for the event.
