Budget Day Announced The Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, announced today that government will deliver Budget 2007 on April 26. �We had a very successful round of pre-budget consultations that were informative and provided our government with insight into the spending priorities of the residents of Newfoundland and Labrador," said Minister Marshall. "These views are being considered throughout the budgetary process and I thank all those who participated." �Budget 2007 will reflect government�s commitment to fiscal responsibility and will most certainly build on the unprecedented strategic investments made in health care, education, poverty reduction, infrastructure and economic growth announced in previous budgets,� concluded Minister Marshall.
