The Honourable Edward Roberts, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Eve Roberts are pleased to invite the public to Government House Grounds to enjoy an outdoor concert on September 15, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. The concert will feature the CLB Regiment Band, the St. John's Pipe Band and the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Band.

"These are the three leading military bands in our Province and I know they will provide an outstanding afternoon of entertainment. We are delighted that they have accepted our invitation to perform at Government House. It has been many years since such a concert was held here," Mr. Roberts said.

He added, "The concert will also provide another opportunity for people to visit the grounds at Government House. Established in 1829, they are the oldest park in Newfoundland and Labrador. They should be at the best on the early fall afternoon when the concert is to be held."

The concert is free of charge.
