Media advisory: Premier and Minister to
Provide Update on Sale of FPI Limited

The Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable Tom Rideout, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will provide an update today (Monday, May 28) on the sale of Fishery Products International (FPI) Limited to Ocean Choice International Incorporated and High Liner Foods Incorporated.

A news conference will be held in the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation Building at 11:30 a.m.

A technical briefing for the media will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Media Centre. This will be a lock-in and media will be required to stay until the briefing is complete, as the information will be embargoed.
